Alicia Keys’ red gown proved a show-stealer at Sunday’s Super Bowl XLVII, where the singer belted out a jazzy rendition of “The Star-Spangled Banner” before kick-off.
Keys wore a stunning red Alia gown for her performance at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, accessorizing her outfit with an 18k gold Marina B choker.
Singing from behind a silvery-white grand piano and with her hair slicked back, the glamorous star gave a cool, assured performance before an estimated audience of more than 150 million viewers.
As Keys sung, her performance was interspersed with footage of American soldiers overseas and watching athletes. Upon finishing, the singer held her arms aloft in what appeared to be a kind of victory salute. Alicia Keys’ red gown has sparked a rush online to find the glamorous dress rocked by the star.
Speaking before her Super Bowl performance, the singer had told MSN Music :
“I’m really excited about [the performance], I can’t even lie. I have to rehearse it totally, as if it’s a brand-new song, because it is actually a brand new song in the style that I’ll deliver it. I’m actually rehearsing it like a maniac.”
The star had also taken to Twitter to give her followers an early preview of her gown:

Also worth noting: Keys’ version of the national anthem was long . In fact, it could have been the longest recital yet at a Super Bowl, according to some Twitter users:
