Amanda Bynes shaved half of her head, taking a page out of celebrities like Miley Cyrus and Rihanna and adding another chapter to her strange saga.
The 27-year-old actress shared pictures of the new, edgy haircut on her Twitter page, saying she was tired of matted extensions and all the upkeep.
After Amanda Bynes shaved half her head, she tweeted: ‘I buzzed half my head like @cassie! No more old photos! This is the new me! I love it!”
It’s the latest hair change for Bynes, who has been trying out new styles and colors a lot lately. She recently cut her long blond hair and dyed it a shade of red, then scrapped that look and went back to blond. She’s also complained to Twitter followers in the past about the damage extensions have done to her hair.
This isn’t the first time that Amanda Bynes decided to shave her head. Earlier this month the actress took a razor to part of her head, and then went on a tirade against Perez Hilton when he posted an unflattering picture of her .
Bynes wrote tweeted: “I had to shave my head because of hair damage from someone @ John Barrett so I’m not loving my paparazzi pics for a few years! I have extensions but you can see them!”
But Bynes wasn’t done. She went on to threaten sites like E! Online for publishing the photos, claiming they could only publish the ones she had pre-approved for them.
“I’ll sue you everytime you post a lie with a paparazzi shot, I tell you everything that is going on about me on twitter,” Bynes said . “Only choose the paparazzi pics that I select and post on twitter and my personal pics when talking about me! I tweet all day about nothing just like everybody on the face of the earth! Thanks!”
She had some particularly harsh words for Perez Hilton: “ @ perezhilton I’m so sick of u saying ur sincerely worried about me. At least pick a photo from my twitter if u won’t stop talking about me … leave me alone! You are the scum of the earth!! @ perezhilton is ugly, has never had a hot boyfriend. He makes being gay look bad! No one wants to be a single parent bc no man wants them.”
As Amanda Bynes shaves half her head this time, she seems much more willing to share pictures.
