Is Leonardo DiCaprio dating Miss Universe Kosovo 2011 Aferdita Dreshaj? We reported a few days ago that Dreshaj might indeed be DiCaprio’s newest supermodel girlfriend, but Miss Kosovo herself insists that they’re just friends.
The Django Unchained star was the subject of several media reports that said he’d found a new supermodel girlfriend when pictures were taken of him on the balcony of a Miami, Florida apartment alongside a tall blonde.
DiCaprio’s balcony date was later identified as model and Miss Universe Kosovo 2011 Aferdita Dreshaj, but she recently said that her relationship with DiCaprio is strictly platonic.
She tells E!Online , “We were all just hanging out as friends.”
So that settles it, right? You never know. Tiger Woods and skier Lindsey Vonn said they’re not dating, but boy are they spending an awful lot of time together lately. Not only that, but Woods loaned his own private jet to Vonn after her season-ending injury at the world championships in Austria. Both camps have been mum about romance rumors.
“If you’re trying to keep a romance a secret , using your alleged boyfriend’s private jet probably isn’t the way to do it,” dryly notes Chuck Schilken of the LA Times .
So who knows about DiCaprio and Dreshaj. Until we see pictures of them making out, I guess we’ll give them the benefit of the doubt, but if one thing has our detective noses tingling, it’s that Dreshaj is definitely DiCaprio’s type.
He previously dated Victoria’s Secret model Gisele Bundchen, Israeli supermodel Bar Refaeli, and most recently, Erin Heatherton, in late 2012.
