It’s now official: Kanye West’s “Saint Pablo Tour” won’t be pushing forward, as the rapper has just canceled the remaining dates of the tour.
A report from Billboard magazine cited West’s representative, who told the publication that the rest of the tour’s upcoming shows have just been canceled. The rep didn’t go into any further detail as to why Kanye, 39, had decided to end the tour prematurely, but the announcement came shortly after the rapper had gone on bizarre rants about his political alignment and what he feels about prominent celebrities who had supported Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton in the 2016 presidential elections.
At a San Jose show last week, West said that he supported Republican President-elect Donald Trump, but the rapper admitted that he didn’t vote in the elections . This was covered last week in an Inquisitr report, as Kanye also reportedly went as far as rapping the words “I hope they build the wall” in reference to Trump’s much-referenced promise to discourage immigration by building a wall at the U.S./Mexico border.

One of the more bizarre Kanye West quotes from the “Saint Pablo Tour” came just this past Saturday in Sacramento, as he dropped the names of famous Clinton supporters Jay-Z, Beyonce, and LeBron James, as well as Clinton herself, then went on a profanity-laced rant about how some people take politics too seriously in order to be “cool.” He ended that leg of the tour early, then canceled a scheduled Sunday tour date in Los Angeles.
“We are all great people. We are all people. But sometimes we be playing the politics too much and forgetting who we are just to win. F— winning. F— looking cool. F— being cool.”
A report from San Francisco CBS affiliate KCBS added that West’s strange behavior over the weekend also included close to 100 fashion photos seemingly posted at random on his Instagram account.
Prior to today’s cancellation announcement, Kanye West updated the “Saint Pablo Tour” with several new dates. He had planned to wrap up the tour at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn on December 31. The tour had 21 remaining dates, including a scheduled show on Tuesday in Fresno.
While West’s agent was silent on the details of why the hip-hop superstar had canceled his tour, a report from TMZ cited its own “Kanye sources” in saying the remainder of the “Saint Pablo Tour” was called off due to Kanye being exhausted from touring, as well as his multiple commitments outside of music.
“He’s just exhausted,” said TMZ ‘s source. “He’s been working around the clock on fashion design, both his own line and the Adidas line.”

Another factor behind Kanye West’s cancellation of the “Saint Pablo Tour,” the source added, may have been the stress related to the October robbery case involving his wife, Kim Kardashian. The robbery took place on October 3 when the reality star was held up at gunpoint in Paris and had affected Kim to the point that she hasn’t made any prominent public appearances since then.
“All the time spent away from his family has been a stress on him as well. They are most important to him.”
What does this mean for fans who may likely be disappointed that the rest of the “Saint Pablo Tour” dates have been canceled? According to TMZ’s source, West is considering launching a second leg sometime in 2017, but he hasn’t committed to announcing any dates as of the moment. According to the source, Kanye “doesn’t want to give fans anything less than his best.”
The Billboard report cited a representative from concert producer Live Nation, who said that those who bought tickets for the remaining dates of the Kanye West “Saint Pablo Tour” will be refunded.
