Eva Longoria has had a rocky road to finding true love, but perhaps her latest stop has led to her finding her prince after all. Longoria has opened up to People magazine about finding love with bachelor Ernesto Arguello.
The confirmation for the Desperate Housewives star comes after rumors fueled about the two of them. However, according to Eva, those rumors were once innocent, and eventually led to them reexamining their very close friendship.
“I guess we have the press to thank for pushing us to see something we didn’t see!,” said Longoria of the media speculation early on.
The two met when he was cast on her NBC-produced show Ready For Love . Although the Bachelor -esque show was a short-lived, it seems as though both Eva and Ernesto walked away from the show with a new perspective, and that special thing they were both looking for, love.
At first just good pals, Eva Longoria elaborated on her blossoming love with 34-year-old Ernesto. Of her relationship, she said: “I think that’s why our relationship is so special – we truly started as friends.”
Things intensified between the two during a trip to Nicaragua, which is when she met Ernesto’s entire family. That isn’t the only trip the couple took, as they were reportedly seen together on a recent trip to Honduras. Eva and Ernesto made a stop to visit a school and homes that he’s built for needy families in his native community. Sounds like a keeper to us!
Eva also hit to Twitter to confirm her romance with Ernesto Arguello, tweeting: “Happy to share NOW that it’s true! Couldn’t be happier…”
After her tweet Longoria recieved a ton of support from friends, fans and family, including Extra host Mario Lopez. However, it was her special retweet from her beau that really stood out:

Eva’s new love comes after numerous failed romances, including a relationship with JC Chasez, Penelope Cruz’s brother Eduardo Cruz, NFL’s Mark Sanchez, and a quick marriage that ended in a divorce to Tony Parker after the basketballer was found to be in the middle of a cheating scandal.
