Taylor Swift has made a return to her grunge look. In case you forgot, the singer-songwriter first debuted her new grunge style and platinum blonde hair on the May 2016 cover of Vogue . She even “debuted” it a few times more at Coachella and at the Met Gala.
Since then, Taylor Swift has taken a turn back to her old look. Since she ended her relationship with DJ Calvin Harris and moved on with Tom Hiddleston, she has reverted to her classic style, which included retro style dresses and oxford shoes. Now, it looks like Swift is going back to her grunge look amid the Tom Hiddleston split rumors.

Swift was spotted in Manhattan’s Tribeca neighborhood on Wednesday, Aug. 31 in a look that gave fans major whiplash. After Swift has been seen wearing crop tops and skirts and floral shifts and dying her hair a darker shade of blonde, fans assumed that the old Taylor Swift was back. But, it looks like she’s experimenting with her style again as she was seen wearing an olive green Bishop + Young romper layered over a baby white T-shirt and paired with a black choker.
Swift finished off her grunge look with printed canvas sneakers. She even brought back her straight hair and side swept bangs after showing off her natural curls last month. Swift swapped out her signature red lipstick for a tinted lip, reports InStyle .

Earlier that day, the singer was spotted heading to the gym, reports the Daily Mail . Swift was spotted wearing a distressed chambray shirt over a navy blue T-shirt and navy blue leggings. She finished off her look with orange and yellow Nike sneakers and the bold reflector sunglasses that she previously wore when she was previously experimenting with her grunge style back in May.

This comes amid the rumors that Taylor Swift’s and Tom Hiddleston’s whirlwind romance is coming to an end. Fans and critics chastised the couple for coming off as fake and publicity-starved, reports MovieNewsGuide.com . According to recent reports, the pair could be on the brink of a break up very soon. Swift and Hiddleston were absent at the 2016 MTV VMAs, and it appears that they had a big fight over the long distance.
The Thor: Ragnarok star has been spending too much time filming in Australia. Swift went from spending every waking moment with him to staying away from him. Hiddleston supposedly wants his distance as he’s tired of being asked about his relationship with Swift all the time, reports GamenGuide .

According to Us Weekly , Swift and Hiddleston have been fighting over their hectic schedules, which leaves them no time for each other.
“They weren’t spending as much time together. There was so much going on so it was hard making their schedules work and they were upset they couldn’t see each other,” an unidentified source revealed to the news outlet.
Hiddleston sufficed by flying out to Swift’s seven-bedroom Rhode Island home on Aug. 14 for a two-day stay before heading back Down Under.
“Tom is busier than her right now, so it’s been hard. They’ve had some schedule issues, but things are otherwise fine. They are making it work.”
