Justin Bieber reportedly feared Selena Gomez could have died from the kidney transplant surgery, and that’s one of the main reasons he was desperate in getting in contact with her again.
Sources tell TMZ that after learning about the procedure his ex-girlfriend had undergone, he realized just how serious Selena Gomez’s condition had been.
Transplant surgeries are very risky, and as the singer mentioned herself in an interview with Good Morning America , another procedure had to be performed that same week due to complications the first time around.
Via Hollywood Life , Justin Bieber never stopped loving his on-again, off-again girlfriend, but he knew he had to keep his distance considering that she was in a relationship with The Weeknd.
It goes without saying, however, that the pop star still cared for Gomez and was curious to know the outcome of her kidney transplant condition.
During this time, Justin Bieber had been going to church a lot, and it was here where he would go on to realize that there could have been a chance he wouldn’t see Selena again.
Had Selena not found a donor for her kidney surgery, or if the procedure hadn’t gone according to plan, Justin Bieber, at the time, feared the singer could have died and he would’ve never been able to tell how much he still cared for her.
That was said to have been what triggered Justin Bieber to simply take his chance with the thought of reconciling with Gomez, despite the fact that she was still seeing somebody else at the time.
In Justin’s mind, if he wasn’t going to get the opportunity to do it now, he doesn’t know when he would have had the chance to do it again.
A source reveals by stressing that it was the kidney transplant surgery that made Justin Bieber realize how important Selena was to him, and though he had been loving her from a distance, at a time like that, where death came into play, all that was on the 23-year-old’s mind was to reconcile with his ex.
The two are said to be dating again following their reunion last month.
