The murder of an autistic teenager was a task one of his killers had on her bucket list, an act that gave her a feeling of euphoria, according to prosecutors who helped convict the young woman and her accomplice days ago.
British woman Jemma Lilley, 26, was found guilty of strangling, stabbing, and then burying the body of Aaron Pajich, 18, in Western Australia, reports The Independent .
During Lilley’s trial, prosecutor James McTaggart told the jury that Lilley checked murder off “her bucket list” after killing Aaron in June of 2016. McTaggart noted that Lilley was so “full of herself and euphoric” following the murder that she couldn’t help but brag to a co-worker about what she had done.
In court, it was also revealed that Lilley had written a book about a serial killer entitled SOS and assumed the identity of the main character. Her mother, Nina Lilley, 48, said her daughter was obsessed with serial killers and found the book to be a “big problem,” as she disliked the “contents of it,” according to The Independent .
Trudi Lenon, 43, Lilley’s roommate, was also found guilty of Aaron’s murder, as jurors determined she aided in slaying the young man.
The convicted killers reportedly lured Aaron to the home the women shared by telling him he could download games from their computer, according to Perth Now . He was attacked from behind with a wire garrote and was stabbed in the neck and chest.

Police found dozens of knives and a bone saw at the home, which Lilley claimed she purchased for cooking purposes, according to Perth Now . In addition, a pot filled with hydrochloric acid was discovered, which authorities believe was used to determine if a bone would dissolve in the chemical.

Following the court’s guilty verdict on Wednesday, Aaron’s mother, Sharon Pajich, told reporters her heart was broken and called Lilley and Lenon “disgusting animals” who should be imprisoned for life. She said the following of her murdered son.
“He was my precious little boy, he was my first-born… he was full of life… They [the killers] deserve everything they get for what they’ve done, they’ve taken an innocent boy from his loved ones.”
According to The Independent , the jury that heard Aaron’s case took just three hours to find Lilley and Lenon guilty of his murder. The two women are slated to be sentenced for their crime on February 23, 2018.
