Is Angelina Jolie worried about the fact that her ex, Brad Pitt, could be teaming up with director Quentin Tarantino for a new film? That’s the claim that Hollywood Life made in a recent article.
“Angelina has heard the buzz about Quentin wanting Brad for his new movie and she is not pleased,” an alleged “insider” source told reportedly told Hollywood Life . “She’s worried about what kind of influence Quentin will be on Brad. He’s a bit of a partier in her opinion and not someone Brad should be spending time with, period.”
In case you’ve forgotten, Brad Pitt and Quentin Tarantino have worked together before. Tarantino directed Pitt in Inglorious Basterds in 2009. According to Hollywood Life , the renowned director is considering Brad for a role in a film adaptation for the Manson family story. Tarantino is also reportedly considering Jennifer Lawrence to star alongside Pitt.
“She’ll [Angelina Jolie] leave it up to Brad to make the decision,” the insider revealed. “You can bet that she’ll have a lot to say if he does sign on to work with Quentin again.”
But Gossip Cop , a site that has become well known for debunking celebrity rumors , has claimed that the story is absolutely false.

They checked with their own trusted source in the Angelina Jolie camp, who said that the story is untrue. Gossip Cop’s source also insisted that none of Jolie’s insiders is talking to Hollywood Life. They also claim that the gossip website has repeatedly lied about Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt. They published a story claiming that Angelina Jolie had a problem with Brad dating again, which Gossip Cop asserted was false. Hollywood Life’s story about Brad and Angelina making a “pact” about not disrespecting each other in front of their kids is also false, according to Gossip Cop.

The story about Quentin Tarantino being a bad influence on Brad Pitt definitely doesn’t ring true when you consider the interviews that Pitt has given in the past about what led to his divorce. In his tell-all interview with GQ , Brad blamed himself and his addiction to drugs and alcohol for the split.

Brad Pitt has admitted in the past that his alcohol addiction drove a wedge between him and his family.
“[For] me, personally, I can’t remember a day since I got out of college when I wasn’t boozing or had a spliff [a marijuana-tobacco cigarette], or something,” the War Machine actor said. “And you realize that a lot of it is, um—cigarettes, you know, pacifiers. And I’m running from feelings. I’m really, really happy to be done with all of that. I mean I stopped everything except boozing when I started my family.”
