You may love him or hate him, but you simply cannot ignore Donald Trump.
Trump is a true Gemini. He is independent and won’t be pinned down by rules. Always brimming with energy and vitality, Trump is clever with words and, at the same time, candid about his views.
This is perhaps the reason Trump has a huge fan following not just in the U.S. but across the world.
His anti-Islam sentiments, in particular, have garnered many followers in India. In fact, a right-wing Hindu group in India went to the extreme of throwing a bash, celebrating Trump’s 70th birthday, according to the Indian Express .
On Tuesday, members of Hindu Sena threw a birthday party at Jantar Mantar in India’s capital New Delhi.

Several journalists were invited to the birthday party, which was well decorated with colorful balloons, ribbons, and posters of Trump. A three-tier cake was cut for Trump, and the Hindu group wished him well and sang “Happy Birthday to You,” according to a report by the First Post .
Trump, the presumptive American presidential candidate of the Republican party, has been a favorite among this Indian Hindutva group, who is constantly at loggerheads with Muslim communities.

The national president of Hindu Sena, Vishnu Gupta, told the Indian Express that they were organizing the birthday party for Trump because they consider him to be their “hero.”
“Donald Trump is speaking the entire world’s ‘Mann Ki Baat’ (message from the heart) against Islamic terror and we support it,” he told the Indian Express , referring to Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s radio show Mann ki Baat .
The Hindu Sena called Trump the “saviour of humanity” and the “messiah against Islamic terror,” according to the Indian Express .
Gupta said, “Donald Trump is our hero. He is the only person in the world who showed the guts to openly declare his intention to end Islamic terror,” quoted a report by Zee Media .
“Only one man can save us all from this epidemic and that is him,” he said.
“Today is a big day. Today the saviour of humanity was born,” he added.

According to the First Post , this is the second event the group has staged for Trump in New Delhi. In May, the group lit a ritual fire and chanted mantras asking Hindu gods to help Trump win the U.S. presidential election.
Apparently, it’s the anti-Islam attitude of Trump that has won the hearts of these Hindu groups in India.
Trump’s hatred for the Islamic community was evident in his foreign policy speech on Monday in the wake of the deadliest mass shooting in a gay nightclub in Orlando, where 49 people were killed and several more were injured. Omar Mateen was identified as the shooter.
“The bottom line is that the only reason the killer was in America in the first place was because we allowed his family to come here,” Trump said, according to a transcript of the speech by Vox . “That is a fact and it’s a fact we need to talk about. We have a dysfunctional immigration system which does not permit us to know who we let into our country and it does that permit us to protect our citizens properly.”
Trump added that the radical Islam is anti-woman, anti-gay, and anti-American.
“I refuse to allow America to become a place where gay people, Christian people, Jewish people are targets of persecution and intimidation by radical Islamic preachers of hate and violence,” he said, adding that this is not just a national security issue.
“It’s a quality of life issue. If we want to protect the quality of life for all American, women, children, gays and straight, Jews and Christians, then we need to tell the truth about radical Islam, then we need to tell the truth about radical Jews and Christians. We need to tell the truth about radical Islam and we need to do it now. We need to tell the truth also when how radical Islam is coming to our shores,” Vox reported in its transcript.
