Adrienne Bailon is calling out ex-boyfriend Rob Kardashian and his cheating ways on The Real .
According to Rumor Fix , Adrienne alluded to her past relationship with Rob during a recent episode of the daytime talk show, where Bailon spoke out about Rob’s cheating and revealed why the Keeping Up with the Kardashians reality star strayed during their two-year romance that stretched between 2007 and 2009.
Though Bailon didn’t mention Kardashian by name during The Real discussion, Adrienne alluded to the fact that she was speaking about her past romance with Rob by referring to an ex-boyfriend who she revealed was four years younger than her.
“I think I got cheated on because I was dating someone four years younger as well,” Bailon told co-hosts Tamera Mowry-Housley, Loni Love, Jeannie Mai, and Tamar Braxton on the daytime talk show, appearing to allude to Kardashian. “I think he never had like a serious girlfriend before and I think I was a lot more mature and I think … he was curious.”
Adrienne Bailon then admitted that she felt Rob “was kind of just feeling himself” when he cheated on her seven years ago, confessing that her time away from home as part of the Disney girlband The Cheetah Girls was likely a factor in Kardashian’s cheating.
“I was on the road a lot and I was hardly ever home and I think, you know … it happens,” Adrienne continued, admitting that she doesn’t hold Rob’s cheating past against him by suggesting that Kardashian’s past affair actually came as a blessing in disguise.
“We were both really young and he was younger than me and wanted some experience,” Bailon said on The Real . “I got it. He was just not for me. Him cheating on me allowed [me] to recognize that we weren’t for each other.”
Adrienne previously spoke out about Rob’s cheating in a 2014 interview with Latinamagazine, where Bailon confessed that Kardashian was “so disloyal” to her during their two-year relationship while also appearing to put the entire Kardashian clan on blast.
“It’s common knowledge that he cheated on me,” Adrienne told the magazine of her and Rob’s failed romance two years ago, admitting that she was bombarded with comments from people suggesting that she forgive Rob Kardashian and his wandering eye at the time.
“In my situation, it wasn’t like, ‘Oh my God! I made a mistake!’ ” Bailon said in the 2014 magazine interview, claiming that Rob “strategically planned things out so that he could cheat on me, and that to me was so disloyal.”
Bailon, who appeared alongside Rob on a number of early episodes of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, then appeared to put the Kardashian family on blast in the Latinainterview, as Adrienne admitted that being associated with the famous family was actually “hurtful” to her and her career as a musician.
“To be stuck with that Kardashian label, that was so hurtful to me and to my career. I probably realized that too late,” Bailon said. “Not that it would’ve affected my decisions in terms of who I dated, but it would’ve affected my decision to appear on the show,” Adrienne continued, referring to her short stint on Keeping Up with the Kardashians .
Adrienne then admitted to the magazine that despite not dating Rob since 2009, people still often associate her with the Kardashian clan.
“To this day, people will still say, ‘You ruined Rob’s life!’ and I’ll think, ‘I was still playing with Barbie dolls when I met him!’ ” Adrienne said.
