In honor of Louis Tomlinson taking to Twitter to announce that he is excited because it is “Pancake day,” and in honor of the birth of son Freddie Reign, who has just upped Louis’ already sky-high adorableness ranking by chilling out next to Louis on the couch watching football, according to J-14 , it’s time to recall all the times Louis Tomlinson was super-adorable, and we loved every second of it.

When he tried to look tough, but he was wearing a flower crown, so it didn’t really work
Louis donned this Lana del Rey-esque flower crown during a promo interview a few years back, and his nimble hand gestures — possibly intended to look streetwise and edgy — are really more adorable than anything, especially because he is widening his blue eyes in a doe-eyed-deer, Bambi-esque sort of way.
When Louis (together with Freddie) inspired this father-son hedgehog tribute
There are almost no words for this one. It was so cute it even got a “like” from Louis’ sister Felicite, which upped its circulation.

Every time he made Niall laugh
Niall Horan and Louis Tomlinson are one of the best bromances. Who could forget the countless video diary moments when Louis had Niall in hysterics? A highlight was when Louis ran blindfolded straight into the couch and Niall almost spontaneously combusted because he was laughing so hard.
To be fair to Harry Styles, the moment when Louis imitates Liam Payne saying “back to Dudley” and Harry does a snorty-sounding laugh is pretty priceless as well.

When he rocked out to Little Mix “Love Me Like You” and called it funky
This was during a Capital FM interview when the guys were asked to give their opinion about the new Little Mix single. Louis’ inner X Factor judge sprang forth, and he assessed the single as”funky” and said he like the more laid-back, chilled-out vibe, biting back any mean-spirited Simon Cowell-ish thoughts that may have been on the tip of his tongue. Harry Styles and Liam Payne also help to make this work by wagging their fingers in a way that suggests they are mocking the mannerisms of the sassy, independent women in Little Mix’s target audience.
When he bonded with Freddie Reign and filled his nursery with animal furniture
Louis is not holding back when it comes to fitting out Freddie’s nursery and making it a magical place for Freddie to sleep. Hollywood Life reports that Louis and Briana are drawing inspiration from a popular British kids’ show called In The Night Garden.
The theme is music and the little characters from a popular British kids’ show called In The Night Garden. The characters are super cute and colorful and include Makka Pakka, Upsy Daisy and the Tombliboo’s. Louis wants to create a magical environment for his son that’s both soothing and sweet.”
A quick social media search reveals that In The Night Garden were also getting into Pancake Day today. Could Louis have ties to the children’s brand?

Perhaps Louis’ mother Johannah Deakin, who is heavily involved with the Believe In Magic charity, is also getting involved with this brand in some capacity.
When he made eye contact during a Zayn meltdown
The knowing look that Louis gives to the camera at 0:20 is incredible. Liam has just revealed that Zayn Malik has been complaining behind the scenes because he hates doing the video diaries, and Zayn has broken into a humorous cry-baby outburst, saying “Liam, you know! I’m sick of this!”
If you pause it at 0:20, you can see that Harry, Niall, and Zayn are all covering their faces because of the awkwardness, Liam is comforting Zayn and Louis Tomlinson is peering straight into the lens with a cheeky, knowing look on his face, like he can’t believe this is being caught on camera and he wonders if you are seeing the drama.
Of course, later it became clear just how unhappy Zayn Malik was in One Direction — he told Billboard magazine he had wanted to quit One Direction pretty much from the very beginning.
