Beyonce’s “Formation” tour is expected to see an astounding number of pre-order sales following her groundbreaking Super Bowl halftime performance last week. The 34-year-old, who was joined by Bruno Mars and Coldplay during the 12-minute set, is expected to head back on the road this April — but fans ought to be aware that ticket prices are anything but cheap.

Having used the Super Bowl as a platform to promote her forthcoming tour to an estimated viewership of 120 million, tickets to the “Formation” show are expected to start from $65, while the best seats can sell for as much as $300 per person.
The prices have yet to be confirmed , Billboard reports, adding that even the touring sponsors of such a costly project are still unknown. An average ticket for Beyonce’s previous tours went for a shocking $294.01, giving clear indications that the pricing is likely to change once tickets go on sale next week.
Either way, the mother-of-one has placed herself in a comfortable position where tickets are likely to sell at any given price. Forty dates have been announced for the “Formation” tour thus far, but an extension is expected to follow once the available shows sell out.
Considering the amount of interest and anticipation from fans, social media users are anything but worried about their idol struggling to sell tickets with an increased price range. After all, she’s never had trouble with it in the past.

“The Mrs. Carter Tour” grossed an incredible $212 million through 126 shows and a reported attendance of close to 2 million people. Reports note that — just like the Formation tour — Beyonce was able to profit from her 2013 Super Bowl halftime show, which has since been named one of the greatest performances in the history of the biggest annual sporting event.
In 2014, the “On The Run” tour became another hit for Bey, who was joined by her husband Jay-Z for the collaborative effort. Having only performed at 19 shows in North America, the duo made close to $100 million as ticket prices averaged at $342.67 and went all the way up to $1,095.
Of course, 2014 also saw the couple surrounded by endless media scandals, including the infamous elevator incident with Solange Knowles, followed by rumors of an alleged divorce tied in with separation claims . The scandals evidently helped Beyonce and Jay headline one of the priciest tours in music.

Reports claim that Beyonce will have no problem selling tickets for “The Formation Tour,” as she has already established herself as one of the most marketable touring acts in the industry. Having performed and advertised her forthcoming project enough to spark an interest, the singer’s sixth studio album is likely to follow in a matter of weeks — right before the tour begins.
Rumors of Beyonce readying up the release of another record came after the songstress unveiled her brand new single , “Formation,” last Saturday, which she would then go on to perform at the Super Bowl. The accompanied music video has been viewed over 10 million times in just three days, evidently giving the impression that fans are more than excited for some new music material.

Some speculations are being made of whether Bey will release her next album similar to her 2013 self-titled record. The “Single Ladies” performer made history when she unexpectedly made the executive decision to release “Beyonce” on her own terms, selling well over 1 million copies in its first week and quite literally changing the way in which artists unveil their music to fans. The label no longer stands an importance for artists who just want their music to be heard, and that’s exactly what she did.
With “Formation” and the Super Bowl currently keeping Beyonce’s name on everybody’s lips, the tour is likely going to see an extension by the end of next week. “The Formation Tour” kicks off in April.
