Kim Kardashian’s ex, Ray J, has fallen in love with Princess Love . Ray J announced his engagement to Princess Love, and it’s official: Ray J and Princess Love are going to tie the knot! The internet is blowing up over reports of the “well-planned surprise proposal” and the “huge sparkler” of a ring the rapper gave his love to seal the engagement.

Though the two have a rough history, and Princess Love “was once arrested for assaulting” Ray J, the Daily Mail reports that he took the plunge and officially proposed to his love. The romantically staged proposal happened in front of a private jet, right there the tarmac. Ray J popped the question on Boxing Day, and the engagement has since gone public.
When asked about his new fiance, Ray told RadarOnline that “she is the most important person to me.” This sentiment showed in the way Ray proposed to Princess, as the 34-year old rapper organized a gathering of family and friends to witness the romantic display.
“I called her best friends and parents to come out the day after Christmas”.
Princess Love said she “cried like a baby” when Ray J asked her to marry him.

This isn’t the first we’ve heard about the engagement. In October, the now officially engaged hip-hop star dropped a hint about her plans with Ray J. Princess Love had previously hinted at the engagement while in Atlanta, Georgia at the world renowned BET music awards for hip-hop artists. When pressed for details on where her relationship with Ray was going, she suggested that they would need to ask Ray J.
“I’m going to let him tell you, I forgot to put my ring on today.”
Though now happily engaged, the couple have had their fair share of troubles. During stints on the reality TV show Love and Hip Hop in Hollywood , Ray J and Princess were seen fighting and breaking up numerous times. They even took a break to work out some of the kinks of their relationship, which seems to have done the trick.

The couple’s fights reached a public crescendo in February 2015, when Princess was arrested for assault and battery. The former stripper, now a fashion designer, was booked after a security guard called 911. The call came after the guard witnessed a bleeding Ray J fleeing down the hallways of the New Orleans hotel that couple were staying in. Princess is reported to have screamed “I’m gonna kill you” while she chased Ray, who suffered a torn ACL, broken ribs and split lips.

Following the assault, Princess was booked by New Orleans police, until Ray J paid her bail. No more has been heard about the state of the charges, but it’s safe to assume the couple have worked the issue out. Princess Love told Love and Hip Hop in Hollywood that she had lost respect for Ray J after he let her go to jail. However, it seems to have helped calm her down, as no further violence has been seen in public from the couple.
Now it looks like Ray J and Princess love plan to live happily ever after, making fans very happy for them.
