Kim Kardashian revealed that her son has a middle name after first sharing that she and husband Kanye West had chosen Saint as their second child’s first name. Apparently, Kardashian decided that her son should be like his big sister North West and share her middle name, reported E! News .
Well, sort of. Kim and Kanye are skipping the middle name mystery entirely. That means that when Kardashian orders those adorable baby shirts that emblazoned with the unusual first name of her son, a middle name won’t need to detract from the mystique of Saint West. His big sister, North West, also doesn’t have a middle name.
Now that Kim and Saint are home, Kardashian is “doing well,” a source told E! News .
And how is North West doing in her new role of big sister? Kim has been preparing her to have a baby brother for some time.
“We talk about baby brother all the time,” said Kardashian previously. “She’s so sweet and yesterday she said, ‘Mommy, can I give baby brother a kiss on your tummy?’ and she kissed my stomach. She’s super sweet.”
But proud mama beware. Kim also confessed that North sometimes shows some jealousy when Kardashian holds other infants.
“[North] has a hard time when I hold other babies,” admitted Kardashian.
For guidance, North has plenty of relatives to whom to turn. Her cousin Penelope Disick just suffered through the experience after Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick gave her a baby brother, Reign Disick, who turns 1-year-old on December 14. On the same day, Mason Disick celebrates his sixth birthday.
As for where Kim, Kanye, Saint, and North are residing these days, Kardashian took her son (along with the mystery of his middle name) home to his grandma’s house. Yes, it’s Kris Jenner to the rescue again, reported People .
Fear not: Kardashian and West are not homeless. Instead, they have a $20 million estate in Hidden Hills that’s being renovated. And rather than a hotel with a newborn baby, Jenner’s Calabasas home offers the luxury and privacy they prefer.
This isn’t the first time that Kim and West have gone to Kris’ for comfortable living during renovations. When Kardashian was pregnant with North, they were having their Bel Air mansion renovated. That house has since been sold, even though they didn’t actually dwell there.
Kim defended the decision to flip the home and move elsewhere by pointing to her baby’s needs for quiet and space. The mansion that they will be living in when the renovations are completed includes 3.5 acres, two spas, two swimming pools, and a vineyard.
“When we bought our Bel Air house, we didn’t have a baby, we weren’t even pregnant,” explained Kardashian. “After you have a baby, you realize that you need so many other things and a different kind of space. So being in the city is a different life. We wanted to be away and have more privacy.”
In addition to the privacy of that new home, Kim and Kanye want some privacy for Saint West when it comes to Keeping Up with the Kardashians ( KUWTK ) reality TV show, reported the New York Daily News .
At this point, Saint probably will follow the same plan that they developed for North when it comes to the reality TV show, which means that until he’s slightly older, his appearances will be extremely limited.
But where are the much-longed for baby photos?
Kardashian and West are arguing over the publicity and privacy issues involved, according to Radar Online .
Kim wants the first photo of Saint West to be featured in a huge magazine with a hefty paycheck for the payment. In contrast, Kanye is hoping for an artistic, special way to showcase his son’s first photo.
“Kim wants to do something in an entertainment magazine with a huge paycheck attached to it,” an insider told Radar . “But for Kanye, the introduction of his son to the world is a very big deal. He wants it to be over the top and unusual.”
