New Greg Hardy pictures show the level of violence the Cowboys defensive end allegedly unleashed against his ex-girlfriend, Nicole Holder, more than a year ago.
Deadspin published a series of disturbing Greg Hardy pictures , allegedly showing Holder was beaten to a pulp on the night in question. According to Deadspin , they reached out to Holder through her attorney, Daniel Zamora, but there was no comment.
Up until now, the Greg Hardy pictures were not public knowledge, and the NFL player portrayed himself a victim. However, the police report makes it clear that Hardy was fleeing the scene like a criminal would.
According to the police report, the brutal incident happened on May 12, 2014, in Charlotte, North Carolina, where Hardy lived at the time. At about 3 a.m., after a night of drinking and partying with friends, Holder said in her court testimony — where the charges were dismissed — that she and Hardy retired for the night and that’s when he suddenly got upset with her, which was occurring more and more often in the relationship.
“It all happened very, very quickly. None of it really made much sense.
“I tried to get up, he pushed me, then I started fighting back, he threw me into the bathroom, I hit the back of the shower wall and fell into the bathtub where he pulled me out.”
Even though Dallas Cowboys executives had access to the victim’s testimony and all the details about what happened last year, they stood behind Greg Hardy, but now that pictures showing what happened to Nichole Holder at the hands of their star defensive back are published, many are clamoring for the NFL to get rid of him.

Now that the Greg Hardy pictures are public knowledge, the Dallas Cowboys and NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell are under fire for not acting in the face of unspeakable domestic violence. Just on November 6 — when the horrific photos were released publicly — Cowboys’ owner Jones supported Hardy in a statement.
“While we did not have access to the photos that became public today, we were and are aware of the serious nature of this incident. We as an organization take this very seriously. We do not condone domestic violence. We entered into the agreement with Greg fully understanding that there would be scrutiny and criticism. We have given Greg a second chance. He is a member of our team and someone who is grateful for the opportunity he has been given to move forward with his life and his career.”
After the Glenn Hardy pictures were published, Jones is under increasing pressure to let Hardy go, despite his intention of signing the alleged attacker to a multi-year, multi-million dollar contract. Similarly, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell is in hot water again for another player misconduct.
After several incidents, most notably, the one in which former Baltimore Ravens Ray Rice was seen dragging his unconscious future wife out of an elevator in surveillance footage ( charges were also dismissed in that case), the NFL started an anti-domestic violence campaign after intense scrutiny. Goodell admitted the public doubted the league’s sincerity in tackling domestic abusers within the NFL.
“We allowed our standards to fall below where they should be and lost an important opportunity to emphasize our strong stance on a critical issue.”
According to the police officer who saw Nichole Holder running away from Hard’s apartment the night of the attack, at first the distraught woman told him what has become a common response after traumatic incidents such as this, “I fell down some stairs.” It is clear that was not that case.
In a move many are calling insincere, Hardy took to Twitter on Saturday night to express his “regret” for attacking his ex-girlfriend.
