Most of the world has already gotten its hands on the Samsung Galaxy S3 and now the Google Android powered device is prepping for its US debut. Samsung announced on Monday that the device would arrive before the end of the month and will go on sale for AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, Verizon Wireless and U.S. Cellular customers.

The Galaxy line of devices are Samsung’s flagship smartphone and tablet mainstays, featuring the Google Android OS, sleek designs and powerful options users have come to expect from their smartphones.

The Galaxy S3 was made available to several European countries last week and the international version quickly showed up for sale on Amazon at a cost of $799.

Picking up the Galaxy S3 via a carrier with a one or two year contract will of course be cheaper. While Samsung does not set pricing it is believed carriers will offer the smartphone for somewhere in the vicinity of $199.

For $200 users receive some impressive features including a 4.8 inch display alongside a powerful 8-megapixel rear-facing camera and a powerful 1.4 GHz quad-core CPU. The smartphone also features the newest version of Android known as Ice Cream Sandwich. The Samsung Galaxy S3 also features WiFi connectivity alongside HSPA+ and 4G which will likely be a big selling point for most carrier based ads for the Smartphone.

While Samsung will reportedly not create carrier specific variants of the smartphone there are a few options users will have to consider, for example the smartphone offers both 16GB and 32GB options and some carriers may offer the device in different colors.
