When Steve Jobs was in charge of Apple the company was known for its veil of secrecy which was only broken when the iPhone 4 was snatched up by Gizmodo . Now the company’s new CEO Tim Cook has promised that the company will “double down” on already established secrets policies.

As Cook spoke about Apple TV , moving manufacturing to the United States and other aspects of the business he remained secretive about future products, telling an audience at the D: All Things Digital conference:

“I feel strongly that being secretive on the product side of our business is so important.”

Apparently “secrets” and “doubling down” on those secrets doesn’t mean Tim Cook isn’t willing to share a few tidbits of information. When asked about Siri’s future Cook responded:

“I think you’re going to be really pleased with where we’re taking Siri. We’ve got some cool ideas about what Siri can do. Siri proved to us that people want to relate to the telephone in a different way.”

When asked if Apple would ever get along with Facebook and use Facebook integration Cook proclaimed:

“I think we can do more with them, so just stay tuned on this one.”

Cook also revealed on the business said that Apple is now performing monthly audits of its manufacturing plants to ensure employees are being treated properly.

When pressed about the Apple TV project Cook responded:

“This is an area of intense interest to us,” he said.

It’s still not clear what “doubling down” on security will mean but after his interview Tim Cook left everyone with answers that weren’t really answers and that my friends is how Apple doubles down on secrecy.
