Lane Kiffin rumors have been exploding across the internet today, following unconfirmed reports on Twitter involving a number of salacious allegations of improper conduct by Kiffin. As reported by Yahoo Sports , the rumors cover a broad spectrum of potential missteps by Lane Kiffin.
As of now, TMZ is reporting that Josh Maxson, the director of communications for Alabama football, has stated that Lane Kiffin is still the offensive coordinator of the football team, and Maxson declined to comment on what he described as “stupid” and “crazy” rumors. However, with the preface that as of this time, none of these rumors have been substantiated, here is an overview of the wild theories currently circulating on social media.
A fist fight with Head Coach Nick Saban
According to the first reports on Twitter, Lane Kiffin and Nick Saban were involved in some kind of physical altercation, after which Kiffin was immediately fired.

Sleeping with a Booster’s wife
“Boosters,” or big donors to a football program, often carry a tremendous amount of clout and influence with Athletic Directors and other individuals in leadership positions at universities, as their paychecks are largely dependent on donations. Therefore, sleeping with the wife of a prominent booster, and allegedly sharing photos or videos of the encounter with other football staff members, is not the best idea for long-term job security.

Sleeping with the boss’ daughter
This rumor, if true, may just break the internet. Although extremely hard to believe, speculation is rampant that Lane Kiffin slept with Kristen Saban, the daughter of Alabama Head Coach Nick Saban. This would be exceptionally bad judgment by Kiffin if true, not even mentioning the fact that he is a married man himself.
Leaving Alabama to become the head coach of the University of Illinois
Finally, some in the Twittersphere are suggesting that the rumors of fights and infidelity are untrue or irrelevant, and that the real reason why Lane Kiffin is allegedly leaving the Alabama football program is because he has accepted an offer as the head coach at the University of Illinois. According to Fansided , Illinois fans are not entirely opposed to the prospect of Kiffin coming on board as the head man.
