Tom Brady could be headed for divorce, and Ben Affleck’s alleged mistress may be at the heart of it all.
The New England Patriots quarterback is reportedly in deep trouble with his wife, model Gisele Bundchen, after a picture emerged online showing Christine Ouzounian wearing Brady’s Super Bowl rings. Though the circumstances of their encounter aren’t entirely clear, reports claim that Brady and Ouzaounian were on a jet together.
A source told Us Weekly that Gisele was furious when she learned about the meeting.
“It could really screw things up,” the source claimed.
“Tom promised her things will be different with them. They want to put the last year behind them.”
That “last year” includes plenty of other rumors that Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen were headed for divorce. There have been reports of trouble dating back several weeks, including a rumor that the two got into a blowout fight after Tom’s birthday party this year.
While Tom and Gisele have put on a good face in public, sources say they are really just trying to hide how much their marriage is crumbling.
“Things between Tom and Gisele have been strained for a long time,” a source told OK! Magazine . “Gisele is ramping up the social media activity because her marriage is breaking down.”
The source said that Gisele threatened to leave Tom, but she may not be the only one fed up with the relationship.
“Tom has very different views on parenting than Gisele, and he has had it with the insane organic, GMO-free diet that she insists everyone in the house follows. She even makes Tom cook the childrens’ meals when she is not at home, despite the fact that they have a full-time staff. She doesn’t trust them to feed the kids, so Tom is cooking and cleaning. It’s crazy!”
The rumors come just as Tom Brady appears to be at a high point in his career. He led the Patriots to a Super Bowl victory last season — his fourth overall — and then promptly defeated NFL commissioner Roger Goodell in court, having his four-game suspension for the DeflateGate case overturned. Brady and the Patriots have now started the season 2-0.
For his part, Tom Brady has denied the divorce rumors. In a recent appears on the Dennis & Callahan show on WEEI, Brady said things between him and Gisele Bundchen were great, adding, “I’m a lucky man.”
