The Surface Pro 4 is coming! There has been no official announcement yet, but Tech Times reveals new information about the laptop/tablet hybrid.

“Among the speculated features, the MS Surface Pro 4 is said to come in 12-inch and 14-inch variants. The high-end variant of the tablet will reportedly cost around $1,300 and boast a 4K resolution screen and 16 GB of RAM.”

Tech Times goes on to note that there may be a $500 base model with 4GB of RAM and an 8,600mAh battery. The Surface Pro 4 is expected to be released in October. Fans on Twitter are already expressing their excitement.

Yep, that’s it. Gonna buy a surface pro 4 on day one. Haven’t been this excited about a computer in ages.

However, there are some people who are quite suspicious of the new information, and they shared their thoughts in the comments section after Tech Times posted the Surface Pro 4 article .

“None of this is true. Just more rumors. I love how so many people just make sh*t up about the Surface Pro 4. In actuality no one knows anything about it and it will stay that way until it is announced by MS,” claims commenter SpacemanJupiter.

“Intel leak on MacRumors shows Skylake due Q1 2016, so how would Microsoft get Skylake in these in October? So far, site after site is just all rumors and nothing concrete on Surface Pro 4,” claims Marc.

Meanwhile, some people who own the Surface Pro 3 are still having trouble upgrading their devices to Windows 10. However, Microsoft claims they can just go to the closest Microsoft Store retail location to get help. CNET has a quote from an email Microsoft has been sending to customers.

“Visit a Microsoft store near you for FREE upgrade services. Come into our store with your device and we’ll help you get to Windows 10. Our Answer Desk will evaluate your device, make sure you have everything you need for an amazing experience, and take you through all of the new features of Windows 10.”

The Surface Pro 4 will be one of this fall’s most anticipated devices. However, it is likely to compete with Apple’s iPad Pro, which is said to come with digital pen capabilities. If the rumors are true that the iPad Pro will run a slightly modified version of OS X, then Microsoft should be worried. However, given the success of the Surface Pro 3, Microsoft has the advantage since consumers already see them as the leader when it comes to laptop/tablet hybrids.
