Did Gisele Bundchen have plastic surgery? Recent sightings of the supermodel sporting a burqa outside a Paris plastic surgery clinic suggest that she’s hiding something, the Daily Mail is reporting .

The 35-year-old Gisele was spotted by paparazzi on July 15 stepping out of a black Mercedes outside Paris’ International Clinique du Parc Monceau, a plastic-surgery clinic. Gisele and another woman — identified as her younger sister, Rafaela — were dressed in burqas, the traditional full-body and face covering worn by some Muslim women.
Ms. Bundchen may also be in some legal hot water because wearing a full-face covering happens to be a serious violation of French law.
However, as the Daily Mail notes, the burqa disguises didn’t work. For one thing, the man driving the limo was Gisele’s long-time chauffeur. Also, they overlooked another rather important detail.
“The sisters also clearly did not do their research on the Muslim culture, as they are both wearing open-toed sandals in the photos — something strict Muslim women are prohibited from wearing.”
Gisele, who according to Page Six had vowed never to have plastic surgery , apparently got some work done as a post retirement and 35th birthday gift to herself. At 35, she decided in April that she’d had enough of the runway, saying that she’d learned to “listen to her body.”
“Automatically, my body tells me if what I do is worth it, and it asked to stop. I respect my body; it’s a privilege to be able to stop.”
Not that Gisele needs to work the runways to make any more money; the former Victoria’s Secret Model and wife of NFL superstar Tom Brady earned $47 million last year, making her the highest-paid model in the world. She also has projects going on off-the-runway.
So what kind of plastic surgery did Gisele secretly have? According to an unnamed source, Gisele was concerned that, at 35 and having had two children, two certain parts of her anatomy weren’t as perky as she’d like. She also apparently had some work done on her eyes. Total bill for the not-so-secret plastic surgery: $11,000.
Following their surgeries, Gisele and her sister retreated to a swanky French spa for a few days of R&R. A while later, she was spotted at Paris’ Charles de Gaulle airport for her flight home back to the U.S., sporting sunglasses but otherwise looking no worse for wear. On Sunday, she was back home and posting Instagram selfies of herself and her 3-year-old daughter doing some yoga.
As of this post, Gisele Bundchen has not commented publicly on whether or not she’s had plastic surgery.
