David Beckham must truly enjoy paying tribute to his family with permanent ink on his body, because he has done it yet again.
The 40-year-old former professional athlete showed off the newest addition to his tattoo collection on Instagram Sunday. It simply states “Pretty Lady” with a heart next to it. The tattoo is placed directly above an older tattoo that David Beckham got of his daughter’s name, Harper.
Beckham further explained the meaning of his newest tattoo within the picture’s caption.
“Hey Pretty Lady…. Just adding to the collection of tattoos that mean so much to me…”
This is definitely not the first time that David Beckham has gotten a tattoo on his body that represents, or pays tribute , to one of his immediate family members.
According to New York Daily News , Beckham’s first tattoo was inked into his skin shortly after the birth of his oldest son, Brooklyn Beckham, in 1999. The “99” tattoo therefore paid tribute to his firstborn’s son birth, as well as the year in which he and Victoria Beckham became husband and wife.
A giant guardian angel was placed on Beckham’s upper back in 2000. The name of the Beckhams’ second son, Romeo, was later inked above the angel in 2002.

Among the extensive list of other tattoos inked into David Beckham’s body, he also paid tribute to his wife, Victoria, by having her name tattooed in Hindi letters on his left arm.
In addition to his handsome appearance overall, quite a few of David’s biggest fans have made it clear that they love his tattoos — even if they are not fans of permanent ink in general.

Chances are that David Beckham is not done getting new tattoos anytime soon. Within the Instagram picture caption from his newest addition, he made sure to thank his longtime tattoo artist, Mark from Shamrock Social Club , for his work which “as always looks amazing.”
