Stephanie March and Bobby Flay have finally come to a settlement that will finalize their divorce. The couple had previously been unable to reach an agreement as to the division of assets, according to Us Weekly .
“We have come to an amicable divorce settlement. We look forward to putting this difficult time behind us and we ask that you respect our privacy as we move forward,” the couple said in a joint statement they released on Friday.

The Law & Order: Special Victims Unit actress and celebrity chef announced in March that they would be separating, and Flay then filed for the dissolution of their marriage. The divorce was put on hold, however, as the couple’s prenuptial agreement which stated that Flay would pay $5,000 in alimony per month was disputed by the actress’ attorneys. Flay is estimated to be worth around $20 million.

Rumors and controversy plagued the couple during the last few months of the pair’s marriage after the New York Post reported that Flay had allegedly been cheating on his 40-year-old wife of ten years. It was purported that Flay, 50, had been having an affair with his young assistant for three years.

Other unconfirmed reports of extramarital affairs on Flay’s part also came to light following the news of the couple’s split — actress January Jones and Flay’s fellow Food Network and celebrity chef, Giada De Laurentiis, were two of the women with whom Flay cheated on March, as reported by Radar Online .

Flay and his reps consistently denied that there was any truth to the cheating rumors, and Bobby Flay’s friend and business associate, Laurence Kretchmer, also aimed to protect his friend’s reputation.
Kretchmer told the Post , “Bobby has a rule that when people talk crap about him he doesn’t respond. I’ve been in the middle of this relationship for 14 years, and he did everything he could to save his marriage,” reports Fox News .
The actual amount and settlement the former couple agreed upon has not been released, as indicated by the Daily Mail .
