As it gets closer to UFC 190 , the heat between Ronda Rousey and Bethe Correia seems to amplify. Beginning way before a match was official when Correia took out Rousey’s “ family ” (Jessamyn Duke and Shayna Baszler) in back-to-back victories, the verbal barbs between the two have become malicious as well as personal than any other rivalry in UFC or MMA history.

Now there are reports claiming that Ronda Rousey has honored her father on father’s day on social media. Rousey did this by promising “comeuppance” for Bethe Correia in their UFC Championship fight.

According to The Washington Post , Ronda Rousey took to her official Instagram to remind Bethe Correia that she’s going to do more to her than she’s ever done to any of her opponents in previous fights.

“And this will not be over quickly. I will make sure you feel every moment of the lesson I’m going to teach you.”

The above was written as a caption for the following picture (attached below) showing the statistics between Ronda Rousey and Bethe Correia. It is a side-to-side comparison of both fighters that heavily favors Rousey, showcasing her fastest win (14 seconds against Cat Zingano), her post fight awards (five) and her finish percentage (100 percent).

The side-by-side statistics of Ronda Rousey and Bethe Correia shows Rousey is far superior than Correia across the board.

For those who don’t know, there was a major reason why Ronda Rousey promised “comeuppance” for Bethe Correia specifically on Father’s Day. Last month, Correia was at an interview promoting her fight at UFC 190 , according to Uproxx . Apparently, Correia stated the following along with a bout of laughter.

“She is winning, so everybody is around her cheering her up, but when she realizes she is not everything that she believes she is, I don’t know what might happen. I hope she does not kill herself later on.”

Ronda Rousey made it known in her book My Fight/Your Fight that her father committed suicide. Ergo, Bethe Correia’s statement was both overly personal and downright ruthless. Reportedly, Correia apologized for her words, but both fans and Rousey do not think it is authentic.

In the end, either Ronda Rousey will avenge her father or Bethe Correia will end the UFC championship reign of “The Most Dangerous Athlete Alive Today.” It will come into fruition on Saturday, August 1, 2015 at the HSBC Arena in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil at UFC 190 .
