You need more proof that the Surface Pro 4 is about to arrive? Christian Today has the news.
“The i5 and i7 models of Microsoft Surface Pro 3 laptop/ tablet are now being sold with a $150 discount in Best Buy and the Microsoft Store. It means that the Surface Pro 3 Intel Core i5 with 128 GB storage and 4 GB of RAM can now be purchased for $899 instead of its original $999 price, while the Surface Pro 3 Intel Core i5 model with 128 GB storage and 8 GB of RAM is now only $1,399 instead of $1,549.”
Christian Today also notes that Intel Core i7 model with 512 GB storage and 8 GB of RAM can now be purchased for only $1,799 instead of the original price of $1,949. These are great deals, especially given that the Surface Pro 3 has been described, by most accounts, as a groundbreaking laptop/tablet hybrid. CNET gave the Surface Pro 3 four stars .
“The Surface Pro 3 is thinner and lighter than the previous two versions, despite having a larger 12-inch display and higher screen resolution. A new kickstand makes it easier to set up and use, and the keyboard cover remains a best-in-class example.”
CNET also noted that the Surface Pro 3 is optimized for use with a digital pen that is included. Unfortunately, if you purchase the regular Surface 3 , you have to spend $49 extra in order to buy the digital pen. It’s more than likely that the Surface Pro 4 will include the digital pen, but it would be great if it included the Type Cover keyboard too.
According to BGR , the Surface Pro 4 will get rid of the fan like the new MacBook, but they don’t think that automatically means it will pack a slower Intel Core M processor. They also believe that the Surface Pro 4 is expected to feature a 12-inch display with 2160 x 1440 pixels of resolution, which is the same as the Surface Pro 3. However, other sources claim the Surface Pro 4 will have a 4K screen.
Vine Report insists that the Surface Pro 4 will have an Intel Core M Broadwell chip, ditching the original plan to ship it with the more powerful Intel Core i5 or even the Intel Core i7 processors. Several people on the internet have cast doubt about this rumor, which appears to be part of the internet echo chamber without any actual confirmation.
The Surface Pro 4 has consistently been mentioned as the first computer Microsoft will roll out when it releases Windows 10, which will be released on July 29. Perhaps the Surface Pro 4 will arrive the same day.
