The Samsung Galaxy Note is now being offered in ceramic white coloring for Canadian customers. Samsung Canada made the announcement on Wednesday morning, revealing that the devices were set to arrive at carriers and select retailers across Canada before the end of the day.
The Samsung Galaxy Note has been a success for Samsung since it was released in October. Since that time the Galaxy Note has sold more than 5 million units worldwide while providing users with a larger than normal 4.5? HD Super-AMOLED display that includes the company’s new S-Pen stylus which is meant to mimic the actual workings of a regular pen directly on the Note’s large display.
According to Paul Brannen, Vice President, Mobile Communications at Samsung Canada:
“GALAXY Note continues to delight customers with its incredible versatility and unique user experience and we are excited to introduce a new colour of the popular Samsung Galaxy Note to Canadians.”
Brannen continues:
“Designed to capture, share and create content like never before, the Galaxy Note combines the power of a tablet with the convenience of a smartphone to bring an all-in-one device to the Canadian marketplace.”
The Samsung Galaxy Note operates using the Google Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system and Samsung has also announced the “Premium Suite” upgrade that adds new features to accent the S Pen. Premium Suite will officially launch in late-spring alongside the Google Android 40 Ice Cream Sandwich build which will be available as a free upgrade for Samsung Galaxy Note users.
According to Brannen:
“With the Premium Suite upgrade, we wanted to add features that enrich users’ Note experience even more, including the great advantages of Android 4.0 and innovative applications for S Pen. We are committed to providing extraordinary experiences for consumers, and we will continue to provide new features and upgrades to enrich our offering.”
Pricing and availability for the Samsung Galaxy Note in ceramic white will be available today at carrier and retailer stores nationwide.
