Fans of That 70’s Show may not initially recognize star Lisa Robin Kelly in her mugshot, but that is the woman who portrayed Laurie on the Fox hit sitcom just a few years back- after she was arrested for spousal abuse last weekend.
While fellow That 70’s Show alum Ashton Kutcher was said to be signing on to play Steve Jobs in an upcoming biopic, Kelly was getting notoriety of a different and definitely less desirable kind.
The actress, now 42, was arrested on March 31st according to TMZ . Scant details are available about the incident and the arrest itself, but Kelly looks pretty rough in her mugshot- and the site says that the actress has been charged with a felony:
Lisa Robin Kelly, who played the sister of main character Eric Forman on “That 70s Show,” was arrested early this morning on a felony charge of corporal injury upon a spouse … TMZ has learned.
Bail for the former That 70’s Show actress has been set at $50,000, and Kelly currently remains in jail after her arrest in Lost Hills by the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department. Kelly starred on That 70’s Show from 1998 until 2003, and her sudden absence from the sitcom at the time was widely rumored to be due to a fondness for partying.
Kelly was replaced with actress Christina Moore, but after a few episodes, Laurie was scrapped from That 70’s Show altogether. In the intervening near-decade, Kelly has been more notable for her lifestyle than her work, and in 2010, pled guilty after a North Carolina arrest for driving under the influence. After that arrest, the That 70’s Show former star was ordered to pay a fine and sentenced to a year of probation.
