Gia Giudice has stepped up to help out her father after her mother, Teresa Giudice, was sentenced to 15 months behind bars late last year. The Real Housewives of New Jersey star had signed documents that implicated her in fraud schemes, and the judge didn’t have much sympathy for her. Teresa was sentenced alongside her husband, and Gia had to step up as the oldest daughter and be a role model for her younger sisters.

These days, Gia Giudice is taking care of her sisters, and she is often defending her family. One can imagine that this is tough for a teenager, but she appears to be putting her family first. Earlier this week, a tweet surfaced from Teresa’s Twitter account, and many speculated whether the Bravo star had gained access to the internet.

According to a new Bravo report, Gia Giudice was the one who tweeted on behalf of her mother. Since Teresa is locked up, fans haven’t heard from her except for a few interviews and a magazine cover. But she does not have access to the internet at the Danbury facility, and her attorney revealed that Gia Giudice was the one behind the tweet.

“Teresa absolutely did not send the tweet herself. She doesn’t have access to Twitter,” the Giudice lawyer reveals, adding, “The message came from her. She asked her daughter Gia to please post it. She wanted to thank her fans for the hundreds, if not thousands, of pieces of mail that she’s received since she’s been incarcerated. In particular, she received an outpouring of kind words and support on her birthday. She’s truly grateful.”

The tweet quickly hit the media, and many news outlets questioned where the tweet came from. Stories about Gia Giudice’s mother and the family had settled because the Giudices were staying out of the spotlight in New Jersey. But Gia helped her mother thank her fans.

“Thank you everyone for all of the cards, letters, and kind words of support. I love, love, love you all xo T!” read the tweet that was published earlier this week.

According to the Inquisitr , Gia Giudice has been working hard to defend her family. It is no secret that Joe has been linked to various women, and tabloids truly believe that he is cheating. But Gia has been defending her family, adding that she finds it funny that people are so desperate to make her family look bad.

“Honestly hilarious how people go out of their way to make my family looks bad.. #nicetryppl” Gia has previously revealed.

Are you surprised that Gia Giudice is handling her mother’s social media activities?
