Kate Gosselin engaged to her millionaire boyfriend? That’s the way it initially appeared based on the enormous diamond that reality TV star Kate is sporting on her ring finger, reported E News .
But although fans immediately started tweeting that Gosselin was engaged when they spied the ring at the TLC Summer Block Party, the 40-year-old mom of eight shared the truth on social media from her @Kateplusmy8 account.
“Fyi: I’m not engaged-not even dating any1.Loved the ring so I put it on myself 4 my bday-Had 2have something abt that # to make me smile #40,” posted Kate.
As for her boyfriend who is a millionaire: Kate’s been seen repeatedly with Jeff Prescott, and the two looked romantic with a touch of PDA at Talula’s Garden in Philadelphia recently. But thus far, the experienced mom is staying mum on the topic.

One reason why Kate is so silent on the topic of Prescott may be the problems that he’s currently having with his ex-wife, reported Celeb Dirty Laundry .
Michelle Jones has accused Jeff of neglecting their children. In particular, Jones claimed that Prescott rarely visited their three children and never took his daughters for overnight visits.
And for Gosselin, who is devoted to her eight children, that would be a deal-breaker.
As the Inquisitr reported, Kate and Jeff were casual friends before they started dating, which was months before any engagement rumors began.
The two were acquainted for more than a year before going on dates, and Jeff earned pre-approval by getting Christmas gifts for all of Kate’s eight kids.
But while Kate denies that they’re actually engaged, her ex-husband Jon Gosselin might finally be able to pay for some expensive Christmas gifts for their children himself. The extra income comes as a result of Jon’s DJ gig for $20,000, reported Philly .
Gosselin also talked with Whitney Ullman about what he really thinks regarding everything from Kate to his future as a DJ, as shown in the video above.
Although being a DJ might sound like a time-consuming career , Jon earned that $20,000 for only one hour of spinning at Harrah’s Casino in Atlantic City, reported Perez Hilton .
In addition to doing his DJ gig at Harrah’s Pool After Dark club, Gosselin appeared for an hour of meeting and greeting customers.
