Rosie O’Donnell’s custody battle with estranged wife Michelle Rounds has taken another bizarre turn. According to reports, the women are now arguing over the custody of a photo — which was taken by Michelle and posted on Rosie’s Instagram account.
Michelle contends the photo, which features the former couple’s adopted daughter Dakota, belongs to her. As she was the photographer, Michelle reportedly contacted Instagram and demanded that the photo be removed.

As reported by TMZ , the social media company has yet to respond to her request.
Rosie O’Donnell and Michelle Rounds met in 2011 and married in June 2012. In January 2013, the couple announced their adoption of their daughter Dakota. Fewer than two years later, the women announced they had separated and planned to divorce.

Michelle and Rosie’s custody battle first made headlines in May, amid accusations of alcohol and drug abuse. As reported by People , Michelle accused the “Queen of Nice” of regularly consuming excessive amounts of alcohol and marijuana.

Although the former couple currently shares custody of 2-year-old Dakota, Michelle is reportedly seeking full custody.
Details about Rosie’s custody battle were originally published by TMZ. According to the May 3 report , Michelle’s attorney asked a judge to compel Rosie to undergo random alcohol and drug testing.
Rosie O’Donnell and Michelle Rounds both reportedly signed a gag order, which prevents them from publicly discussing the details of their divorce and custody battle . However, sources close to both women confirmed the California judge denied Michelle’s request.
For now, the estranged couple’s custody arrangement seems to be working for everyone involved. However, the “custody” of Rosie’s Instagram photo remains a point of contention.
Rosie O’Donnell’s marriage to Michelle Rounds is her second. In 2004, the former talk show host married former Nickelodeon executive Kelli Carpenter.
Although the marriage lasted several years, and the couple has three children, the women divorced in 2009. Rosie then had a long-term relationship with artist Tracy Kachtick-Anders. However, their relationship ended in 2011.
