The entire “Harry Potter” series is now available as e-Books. Fans of the wizard series have been waiting for J.K. Rowling to digitize the books for years. All seven books in the series are now available to purchase through Rowling’s website Pottermore.

The LA Times reports that the “Harry Potter” books will be available in English print and audio formats. Spanish, French, Italian, and German versions of the books will be released soon. Currently, the series is being sold in the EPUB format which works on most e-readers, like Amazon’s Kindle, Barnes & Noble’s Nook, and Sony’s Reader.

Russ Grandinetti, Amazon’s vice president of Kindle content, said:

“For years our customers have loved reading Harry Potter books in print, and have made them the best-selling print book series on Amazon.com. We’re excited that Harry Potter fans worldwide are now able to read J.K. Rowling’s fantastic books on their Kindles and free Kindle reading apps.”

Jim Hilt, Vice President of e-books for Barnes & Noble, added:

“By offering the NOOK editions of this popular series, long-time fans and first-time readers can experience the magic of Harry Potter in a new, exciting way and read what they love, anywhere they like.”

“Harry Potter” fans can purchase the entire series for $57.54 or they can buy individual books from $7.99 to $9.99. Audio book prices range from $29.99 to $44.99, or you can buy the entire series for $242.94.

The first “Harry Potter” book was published nearly 14-years-ago. It wasn’t until last year that J.K. Rowling finally agreed to make the books available in a digital format. Rowling, who made the announcement when she unveiled Pottermore, said :

“I wanted to give something back to the fans that have followed Harry so devotedly over the years, and to bring the stories to a new digital generation. I hope fans and those new to Harry will have as much fun helping to shape Pottermore as I have.”

The “Harry Potter” series has sold more than 400 million print copies.
