Buffy and Willow partying together. Former Buffy The Vampire Slayer co-stars Sarah Michelle Gellar and Alyson Hannigan had an awesome reunion and they shared it with all their fans. People Magazine reports that the reunion happened when Hannigan threw her daughter, Keeva, a party to celebrate her third birthday and Gellar was in attendance.
“So this girl (#AlysonHannigan) and her husband (#AlexisDenisof) know how to throw a party,” Sarah Michele Gellar captioned her Instagram photo of herself and former co-star together.
“I thought I was good with the crafts, till I went to this party #CraftMaster. Thanks for having the #PrinzeFamily I’ve never seen a farm and pony rides in Santa Monica before #NowIveSeenItAll.”
It looks like Buffy and Willow still know how to party, only this time it’s at a child’s birthday party and not at the Bronze. In fact, the Buffy The Vampire Slayer cast seem to have a lot of love for each other still. This makes fans really want some sort of reunion for the show, which was cancelled after seven seasons, but continued on in comic book form.
Fans will remember that Gellar and Hannigan played besties Buffy Summers and Willow Rosenberg on the hit teen drama. While Buffy was the slayer, she often relied on her friend Willow for not only her book smarts but also her witchy magical abilities. Willow was such a powerful witch in fact that she even took it too far and turned into an evil version of herself, which her friends were forced to try and stop. Willow as also know for being one of TV’s first female gay characters.
Sarah Michelle Gellar went on to do movies such as I Know What You Did Last Summer and Scooby Doo after become famous as Buffy, while Hannigan later starred on the beloved hit comedy show How I Met Your Mother . Buffy’s former leading man, Angel, played by David Boreanaz is currently starring on the show Bones and other members of the “Scooby Gang,” Nicholas Brendon, who played Xander on the series, has found himself in a lot of legal trouble as of late. As previously reported by the Inquisitr , he was most recently busted for public intoxication.
ABC News reports that Gellar recently reflected on the 12th anniversary of the series finale, as she never seems to want to leave her past as Buffy The Vampire Slayer behind.
