Former SUR Lounge waitress Stassi Schroeder has quit Vanderpump Rules , at least that’s what she claims, and moved to Venice, California.
As the Inquisitr previously reported, there have been a slew of contradicting reports regarding Schroeder’s exit from the show , which came years after the former SUR Lounge employee called it quits at the restaurant. While some claim Schroeder was fired from the show because of her bad attitude, she claims to have quit. During a podcast earlier today, Schroeder insisted the decision to leave the show was not in the hands of Bravo, as she reportedly called it quits shortly after the Vanderpump Rules season three reunion was filmed this past February.
“I knew that when I left Vanderpump Rules, this was inevitable. People were going to write things about me, and I wasn’t going to like it, but this just feels a little different.”
According to Schroeder, she doesn’t typically address the negative things being said about her, but when she saw that her co-star, who she did not name, had claimed she was fired, and acted as if she had done something to deserve that, she had a change of heart and decided to defend herself publicly.
“The decision to leave the show was one of the hardest decisions I’ve ever had to make, and it’s been something that I have deliberated over for two entire years now. I was so proud of myself when I actually came to a point in my life where I felt confident enough, not just as a woman, but as a person, to be able to say that I’m going to walk away from a lot of financial security. I’m going to walk away from fame. I’m going to walk away from opportunities to do other things, all because I don’t want to be in a situation that doesn’t make me happy.”
Now that the former SUR Lounge waitress is done with the restaurant and the show, she’s also done with her former town, and recently relocated to Venice. On May 19, the former SUR Lounge employee shared the news of her move on Instagram, along with a photo of herself and a couple of friends.
“Meet the new residents of Venice Beach. Totes west siders now.”
Although one may have assumed her move was prompted by a breakup, she and her boyfriend, Patrick Meagher, are going strong, and appear to be living together in Venice. As for the former SUR Lounge employee’s future in television, she doesn’t appear to have anything in the works at the moment.
