Brody Jenner told reporters last week that the rumors concerning him getting married are false and called them “B.S.”
Jenner, who attended the grand opening of Bowlero Mar Vista, in West Hollywood, on Thursday as guest DJ, told reporters that while his family is doing well, he’s not looking to expand it anytime soon. The reality star has been dating model Kaitlynn Carter for a year and a half, but says that the abundance of rumors he’s heard lately about them sharing vows are untrue.
“Actually, in the past six months, I read we got engaged a few times. That’s all just a bunch of B.S. We’re together and we’re enjoying life, and that’s it. But right now there’s no talk of marriage,” Jenner said .
Brody is about to expand his resume with a new talk show for E! that will focus on sex; the show will include a panel for each episode, and Jenner will produce it himself.
“I created it and produced it. It’s a mix between Howard Stern — though more PG-13 — with Loveline . We have a sex therapist and a female comedian and myself. And I’m the sex expert…I guess I’m a self-proclaimed sex expert. I’ll go with that,” Brody said .
Brody Jenner has plenty of experience on television; in addition to several reality shows and semi-reality shows ( The Hills ), he also hosted and executive-produced the competition Bromance in 2009.
Jenner has reportedly been very supportive of his dad, Bruce, as he allegedly prepares for a gender transition, but has not spoken directly about it to the media. He did say recently that his family is doing really well.
“Everything is going great with the family. Everybody’s very happy. Everybody’s living life. And it’s a great time for all of us. Everything’s really great,” Jenner said.
Bruce Jenner sat down with Diane Sawyer recently for an in-depth interview , which is garnering quite a bit of attention ahead of its April 24 air date after being touted as the place where he will finally reveal himself post-transition. A brief teaser video has been released showing Bruce with his back to the camera, but not revealing much else.
According to a recent issue of People Magazine , Bruce sat down with his kids and talked to them in detail about the process he was undergoing.
“Bruce told them everything – where things stood, what his plans were for the future, and what everyone could expect. Everyone basically knew what was up, but it was still a shock to hear it outlined so explicitly,” a source told People .
