Netflix’s new wearable smart watch lets you keep up on your favorite movies and TV shows wherever you are, because life is just too short not to binge watch.

There is no actual Netflix smartwatch — sorry. The ad is actually a parody ad of Apple’s new smart watch that will be released later this month.
The Netflix parody ad features its smartwatch, basically a smart phone attached to a wristband, with features that allow users to keep up with their favorite shows like Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt or House of Cards.
The video is narrated by an enthusiastic voice describing exactly why consumers should run out and by its smart watch.
“It’s the vast world of Netflix, right on your wrist! Because life is too short to waste precious time not watching Netflix.”
A week too late for April Fools and a couple weeks short of the Apple watch launch, Netflix’s video spoofs all wearable devices.
The video shows users keeping up with their latest shows as they jog, work, and yes, even drive.
Don’t worry, the Nextflix Watch Plus is coming soon for a 4k streaming experience you can carry on your wrist. This one is actually a tablet with a wrist band.
This isn’t the first time Netflix has spoofed a tech ad, according to the San Francisco Gate . The streaming video company also announced a Drone to Home product similar to Amazon’s drone shopping program last year.
In that video spoof, Netflix advertised that quality DVDs could be delivered to customer’s homes mere moments after they requested them by virtue of a flying drone. The commercial spoofed Amazon’s idea for a drone delivery service called Prime Air.
The streaming service begun hosting its own original shows recently, and has said it can carry as many as 20 original scripted series every year, according to the Inquisitr .
Trying to keep up with all these shows might drive consumers to consider purchasing a Netflix watch, but sadly, they’re fake.
You’ll just have to buy an Apple watch.
The actual Apple watch will be available for pre-order Friday and is scheduled to launch April 24 at a cost of $350, according to NBC Bay Area .
Reviews about the Apple smartwatch range across the board from people who love it, to people who hate it. On the downside, its battery only lasts about a day, but Bloomberg Business called it the most advanced piece of wearable technology.
