The woman who miraculously survived the crash that killed TapouT founder Charles “Mask” Lewis has been identified as Lacy Lynn White.
23 year old Lacy Lynn White, believed to be Mask’s girlfriend, remains in intensive care with head and internal injuries, and has had surgery on her arm, according to her family attorney Vincent J. Bartolotta Jr.
Bartolotta said that the family’s outlook was “optimistic but guarded.” He also said that the family was exploring the options of a lawsuit.
The driver of the other vehicle in the race that led to crash, Jeffrey David Kirby, has been charged with DUI and vehicular manslaughter. Police also disclosed that Kirby had two previous convictions for driving under the influence.
