Turns out the smaller you are, the bigger tool you can be with “tiny tool” Josh Douglas winning VH1’s Tool Academy.
Douglas beat Matsuflex (Ryan) Matsunaga from California was the runner-up to win $100,000 and engagement ring for his girlfriend, Ashley. In a final twist, Douglas proposed to Ashley in the finale, and she said yes.
If you missed the series, the idea was fairly simple. VH1 found the biggest douche bags they could find and told them they were competing to become “Mr. Awesome, ” when really the show was all about what complete tools they all were. No word yet if it will be back for a second season now the shows starting premise could warn likely contestants off.
