The RHONY drama playing out off screen between Ramona and Mario Singer may be more intense than what’s happening with Ramona on The Real Housewives of New York ‘s upcoming seventh season.
“[Mario] has become a fixture on the nightlife scene in New York City, with a different young woman on his arm almost every week,” an insider told Radar Online on March 13.
“Mario is happily single, and intends to continue dating as many hot chicks as possible. He says it’s the happiest he’s ever been! Meanwhile, the fact that Ramona is miserable doesn’t bother Mario in the least. He was unhappy for years living with her, and is vowing to never be tied down again.”
Although the RHONY drama has reportedly increased with the recent addition of Bethenny Frankel, who returns for season seven as an official housewife, Singer has her own marital drama, which likely outweighs anything fans will see on the show.
While filming the RHONY drama last summer, Singer announced she was leaving her husband, Mario, after allegedly catching him cheating on her with Kasey Dexter, a 32-year-old trainer, who he had reportedly been having an affair with beginning years ago.
After she first go word of her husband’s alleged affair in January 2014, Singer filed for divorce, but after she decided to give her marriage another shot, the divorce was called off. Then, months later, Mario and Dexter reportedly rekindled their love affair, and went public in New York City.
While things between him and Dexter eventually ended last year, he has continued to date, and recently struck up a romance with Bravo reality star Chantelle Fraser, star of the upcoming season of Blood Sweat And Heels .
Unfortunately, although Mario’s off-screen relationships would certainly make for some interesting RHONY drama, they won’t be seen on the show. Instead, the RHONY drama will surround his wife, Ramona, who spoke openly about their split during the seventh season of the show.
“[Singer is] humiliated and embarrassed by Mario’s actions. It was bad enough Mario cheated on her publicly, but living with the aftermath has been even worse.”
The RHONY drama going on with Singer and her divorce reportedly resonated with her co-star, Bethenny Frankel, who is also currently going through a divorce from her estranged husband, Jason Hoppy. In one scene, Singer and Frankel are seen crying about their failed marriages.
As the Inquisitr previously reported, Singer’s divorce has reportedly become costly , and may force her to sell her Hamptons home. According to a Radar Online report, Singer is currently renting out the home in an effort to decrease costs.
