Barry Williams allegedly left his girlfriend and his daughter in somewhat shocking claims that hit the internet this week. According to the New York Daily News , Williams, who played Greg Brady on The Brady Bunch , supposedly abandoned his 3-year-old daughter and left his girlfriend Elizabeth Kennedy without any money. The claims come from Kennedy, who says that she and the couple’s daughter were evicted just two weeks before Christmas and that Williams did nothing about it.
The 60-year-old actor has refuted said claims and states that this whole thing is actually Kennedy’s fault. He says that Kennedy “got pregnant on purpose,” and he suggested that this was some kind of ploy to keep him around. Williams says that this whole thing went down after he “refused to marry” Kennedy.
Barry Williams’ girlfriend and daughter didn’t spend much time with the actor last year at all. In fact, Kennedy said that her toddler only saw Williams for eight hours in 2014. According to the Canada Journal , Williams claims that Kennedy was never anything more to him than a “ sexual companion ,” something that she said hurt her more than anything ever.
“Kennedy alleges that Williams is a multi-millionaire who shares a trust fund worth $11.6 million. That of course raises the question whether Williams has made good on his obligations as a father to his and Elizabeth Kennedy’s child and if not why the actor is dragging his feet.”
Interestingly enough, Williams is reportedly on his way to making a television comeback by way of a new reality series. It’s unclear what the show would be about, but Kennedy and the couple’s daughter have no part in it. And while it appears as though Kennedy is trying to do what is best for her and get some financial help with her daughter, Williams couldn’t seem more disinterested in what’s going on in his personal life if he tried. When asked about the ordeal earlier this month, the actor quickly changed the subject.
“We don’t have time for all of that rigamarole and sorting it out. I want to find out if Bruce Jenner is going to become a woman or not. That guy is committed. He is committed to promoting himself. And I’m thinking, maybe, I don’t know, I could say – I’m just saying, if this thing doesn’t work, and the series isn’t doing as well as I want, I’m going transgender.”
Barry Williams seems to want nothing to do with his girlfriend or their daughter. As previously reported by the Inquisitr , Kennedy has filed court documents , likely because she wants to receive child support. Meanwhile, Samantha only sees her dad when he’s on television, and it’s possible that will never change.
