It’s been a pretty good month for Drew Barrymore. The actress just recently announced that she got engaged to her boyfriend Will Kopelman, and now she’s featured on the cover of InStyle Magazine.
The actress, now 36, said that she’s very happy that her life is settling down a bit. Barrymore said:
“I would love to slow things down a bit. We’re living in a time when we have such expectations of immediacy. Everything is instantaneous, everything’s out there.”
Coincidentally, Barrymore’s engagement to Kopelman has given her some of that stability and has slowed her life down a little bit. Barrymore said:
“(Will) is lovely. He’s very nice. I’m super happy… We go on group trips and spend holidays together – there’s a lot of love! And that is really nice and very different from the way I grew up, which was more unstable and inconsistent, with a lot of highs and lows. It’s funny, when I was younger, I used to say I’d hate a flat line – that I want the ups and the downs, the roller coaster. But I’m actually really enjoying the flat line.”
A photo of Barrymore’s engagement ring also emerged over the weekend.
E! Online reports that Barrymore and Kopelman got engaged during a 10-day vacation in Sun Valley, Idaho. The couple hasn’t announced a wedding date yet.
This will be Drew Barrymore’s third marriage. She was briefly married to Jeremy Thomas in 1994 and was married to Tom Green for a couple of years starting in 1999.
