Teresa Giudice Rejects Bravo, Reportedly Turned Down $50K Offer

Reality star Teresa Giudice reportedly rejected Bravo when the network offered her a lucrative deal shortly before beginning her prison sentence.

According to TMZ , Bravo wanted to get footage of Teresa Giudice along with her family as she spent her last few days of freedom before turning herself over to her new home for the next 15 months.

The report claims that Bravo offered Teresa Giudice more than $50,000 to allow them to get the footage that they wanted, but she turned it down.

Even though Giudice had no problem with showcasing her family’s private life through six seasons of reality television, Teresa reportedly did not want to share her final moments spent with her family with the rest of the world.

Teresa may have turned down the deal simply because of how the prison officials would have responded to the media coverage, which could have possibly backfired on Giudice later – such as if they consider letting her go home early.

As previously reported by the Inquisitr , the 42-year-old Real Housewives of New Jersey star turned herself in to begin her 15-month prison sentence early Monday morning.

According to People magazine, Teresa handled the situation the best way that she could in her final moments before beginning her journey to federal prison.

Teresa was escorted to the Federal Correctional Institution located in Danbury, CT on Monday at 3 A.M. by her attorney, James J. Leonard, Jr.

Leonard opened up to People about what happened when he first arrived at Teresa’s $3.9 million Montville Township home to pick her up.

“[Teresa] was upstairs when I got to the house. I’m assuming she was with her children. I tend not to ask people about things that are outside of my area.”

Leonard also revealed the final words that Teresa shared with her him before being turned over to prison officials.

“She said, ‘Tell Joe and the girls I’m good.’”

After appearing before U.S. District Court Judge Esther Salas in October, Joe and Teresa Giudice were sentenced to prison and ordered to pay more than $414,000 restitution for bankruptcy and bank fraud.

Teresa received a 15-month prison sentence and 2 years of probation. Her husband, Joe, received a 41-month prison sentence with the added possibility of being deported after completing his sentence.

The judge allowed Teresa and Joe to serve their prison sentences separately for the sake of their daughters.
