The Good Wife is on hiatus until January, and fans were definitely left hanging with the midseason finale. It looks like Cary Agos is going to take the plea deal and prepare to head to jail, but could his team come up with a last minute plan to spare him? A new Good Wife spoiler preview has just come out, and it seems to give fans a bit of hope.
E! Online shares the Good Wife spoiler preview . The episode is titled “Hail Mary,” and Cary will hire a prison consultant to help him prepare for his time behind bars. CBS teases that the team at Florrick/Agos/Lockhart will be scrambling, though, to find a way to keep him out of jail. In addition, Alicia will be practicing for the State’s Attorney candidate debate. Peter will be on hand for the debate prep, and fans will be interested to see if the couple can convince voters their marriage is still in good shape.
Much of the focus in this next episode, of course, will be on Cary’s case. Fans cannot imagine that Agos will really end up locked away for years, but the situation certainly seems dire. Kalinda is right in the middle of things, working on a last-minute way to turn the case around. Diane is seen in the Good Wife spoiler preview telling the firm that they have to find a violation in the State’s Attorney’s work to prevent Cary from having to start his sentence.
Alicia is also seen getting a phone call from Diane, asking her what happened. Most would imagine that the chances are good that the firm’s Hail Mary will ultimately be successful, but it’s definitely going to come down to the wire. Cary may have given up, but his firm hasn’t.
The “Hail Mary” episode of The Good Wife kicks Season 6 back into gear again on Sunday, January 4. While it is already known that one character will be leaving at the end of the season, fans are anxious to know that there won’t be another big departure in the vein of Cary heading to jail with a couple of years of time to serve ahead of him.
Will Cary Agos be spared from serving time for a crime he didn’t actually commit? Will Alicia Florrick win the race for State’s Attorney? The wait for new episodes won’t take too much longer as The Good Wife returns with more of Season 6 just after the holidays.
