Rita Ora’s promotional plan backfired on Friday, October 31, when she attempted to gather tweets in order to release a song. She wanted 100,000, but only got 1850 retweets.

Rita Ora is a British singer, songwriter, and actress. She is a prominent and famous singer in Britain, soaring on the UK music charts. She is the second British solo female singer to win four UK number ones.

This is not the first time Rita Ora has been in the news recently. According to an earlier report from the Inquisitr , DJ Fresh says all Rita Ora wants is to be a celebrity.

“Dropping my new song monday if this get 100,000 retweets,” Rita Ora tweeted.

Out of her 3.9 million followers, only around 1,850 retweeted the message. People usually do these kinds of incentives to build up support and encouragement for something. In Ora’s case, it was for a new song.

Soon after, Ora reportedly retweeted a supportive message from a fan — “where her 3.9m followers at when you need them smh” — though she later undid the action.

However, the stealthy tweet didn’t go unnoticed by fans.

One user tweeted, “So we’re not getting [the] new single?”

Another added, “Will you release the new single even if we don’t reach the target? I think you’re just teasing us.”

Rita Ora responded, however, saying, “By the way my Twitter got hacked somebody is threatening to release new music I’ve worked really hard on. Nothing comes out until I’m ready.”

Nobody knows if this is the truth or if she is trying to cover up her failure to get 100,000 retweets.

“Or the bots insist on it! When it’s ready we will drop music! Luckily I caught the hacker really quickly and deleted the post. Thank you!!”

It seems like Ora will not be releasing her song on Monday, especially after he defense that her account was hacked. Ora is also staring in the new movie Fifty Shades of Grey , which is one of the most anticipated movies on the year. It is scheduled to be released on Valentine’s Day.

Rita Ora’s embarrassing attempt to get 100,000 retweets to release a song backfired on her on Halloween. She later deleted the tweet to remove any evidence that it happened. She maintains the defense that she was hacked.
