Most companies when celebrating anniversaries of sorts tend to hand out gold watches or plaques – not so Northrop Grumman. For its recent 20th anniversary celebration of the B-2 Spirit stealth bomber they approached Orange County Choppers of Newburgh N.Y. to design and build a homage to the B-2.
OCC is the motorcycle custom shop behind the popular American Chopper show on Discovery and they seem to be the perfect fit for creating a B-2 Stealth motorcycle that will be making the circuit of celebrations in honour of the bomber. As well the premier show of the 2009 season for American chopper will feature an episode on the design, development and production of the B-2 bike.
It almost makes me want to watch the show for the first time – almost but not quite. Maybe in the reruns.
