Amber Portwood is out of prison and adjusting to life on the outside, and that means shedding the weight she picked up while incarcerated.
Portwood spent 17 months in prison before being released last November. The star of MTV’s Teen Mom immediately went to work trying to shed the weight she picked up, with Star Magazine reporting that she was turning to diet pills to drop some pounds.
Whatever she is doing must be working, as Amber posted a picture of her trimmer self on Twitter this week.

Amber Portwood added that she hope fans can learn from her mistakes, and that she can help set up a better life for her 5-year-old daughter.
It appears that post-prison Amber is very focused on helping life return to normal for Leah. The reality television star recently posted a picture of Leah dancing to some music.
“Booboo dancing to city and colour…introducing her to good music early..love,” Portwood shared.
MTV actually captured Amber Portwood in the moment she saw Leah again after leaving prison. In a special televised in February, Amber could be heard lamenting the time she lost from her daughter’s life: “I feel so f—ing bad. I left her for so long…I know why she’s acting the way she is. She’s afraid that I’m gonna f—ing leave her again. I just f—ing hate everything I did. It was all the drugs and s–t. It was all I did. All I did was get f—-ed up.”
