Jessica Simpson is reportedly getting married this weekend! The singer is set to marry her beau, Eric Johnson, in a gorgeous, fun ceremony at San Ysidro Ranch , which is located north of Los Angeles. According to Rumor Fix , party rental trucks carrying everything from chairs to decorative shrubbery arrived at the location on Thursday to set up for Jess and Eric’s big day (which will likely be July 5).
Television reporters and paparazzi gathered outside San Ysidro Ranch to see what they could see — and many will undoubtedly take up shop there today (if they didn’t camp out overnight). Getting that first photo of Jessica Simpson in her wedding dress will be a serious windfall for a lucky photographer — if they can actually pull it off. Security is expected to be very tight around the secluded and private area.
Jessica Simpson’s pre-wedding festivities started yesterday as well. According to Us Weekly , Jess’ fiance, Eric, went golfing with his groomsmen — and his soon-to-be father-in-law, Joe Simpson — at Sandpiper Golf Course in Santa Barbara, California.
A witness said:
“They were a really attractive group! They played 18 holes and drank lots of Bud Lights. There were definitely a lot of Southern accents. The guys were all super hot! When they all arrived, they were really boisterous, greeting and hugging each other. They had a really good time.”
While this is Jessica Simpson’s second wedding (her first was to Nick Lachey back in 2002), people expect it to be amazing. Jessica has incredible taste and she isn’t the type of person to let any small detail go unnoticed. Naturally everyone is excited to see Jessica’s dress — rumor says she helped design the gown herself!
As previously reported by The Inquisitr , Simpson has worked super hard to get in shape before her wedding day. After giving birth to two children in three years, Simpson managed to lose all of her baby weight — and then some. She has been showing off her ripped body on Instagram, and you can just tell that she’s going to look stunning in her wedding gown, which is rumored to have cost a whopping $200,000. To put that into perspective, the average cost of a wedding gown (you know, for people who aren’t millionaires) is $1,500 (via costhelper.com).
It is believed that Simpson and Johnson’s two children, Maxwell 2, and Ace, 11 months, will be a part of their parents’ special day. Expect to hear of Maxi’s flower girl duties (and her adorable dress) some time soon. If Ace can manage, he will likely serve as ring bearer for the highly-anticipated event.
