Apparently, the original plan called for getting a bad reaction from her daughter by stuffing a gift bag with a pair of giant men’s underwear. Eaton was prepared to record a video of an impending tantrum, but instead the reaction was priceless.
“Oh my gosh, this is beautiful,” the little girl exclaims after pulling out the white underwear.
“What is it, bug?” her mom asks while holding back her snickering.
Instead of dejected, the little girl says, “It’s pants. … I like it!”
With this unexpected response, her mother is fighting to contain her laughter as the little girl puts them around her neck and on her head. But the cuteness was not finished.
“These are so beautiful,” the girl concluded. “This is my special present I ever got from you.”
At this all the mother could do was say “awwwws.”
“Her reaction is priceless,” Eaton wrote on the original YouTube description, which has since been removed. “After she opened this I did give her a good present just for being such a great daughter.”
