A 4K TV won’t have to break the bank, Sony has revealed.

The company has come out with the pricing plans for the state-of-the-art television, with experts saying it includes the most affordable option to date.

At the annual showcase of electronics, Sony unveiled three difference series of the Bravia 4K TV for a total of nine models. After showing off the televisions, Sony has now unveiled the cost to own one of these televisions, with prices ranging from $2,100 to $25,000 for anyone adventurous enough to want the 85-inch version.

As Digital Trends notes, the short range of the pricing scale makes the television affordable for a fairly large range of consumers.

“While Sony’s new 4K displays are far from cheap, the entry-level $2,100 model gets about as close as we’ve seen to affordable from the company when it comes to 4K, and the new lineup offers a host of ways to get into the premium brand’s spin on UHD,” the report noted. “If you want in, Sony is taking pre-orders for its new Bravia lineup starting today.”Here are the full range of prices for the Bravia 4K TV from Sony:
XBR-X850B

  • 49-inch – $2,100
  • 55-inch – $3,000
  • 65-inch – $4,000
  • 70-inch – $5,500

XBR-X900B

  • 55-inch – $4,000
  • 65-inch – $5,000
  • 79-inch – $9,000

XBR-X950B

  • 65-inch – $8,000
  • 85-inch – $25,000

The 4K TV is seen as a breakthrough, bringing a host of the digital imaging technology that’s been developed by Sony. That includes Triluminos Display color technology for “lifelike color,” a function to improve contrast, and even technology to liven up lower-resolution images.

“We strongly believe 4K is the future for entertainment and we remain committed to leading the 4K movement, from lens to living room, in a way that only a company like Sony can,” Mike Fasulo, president at Sony Electronics said in a statement.
