It seems that for some reason that computer OS have this silly fixation about developing a 3D desktop. It turns out that Apple has something in their labs worthy of patenting. In the multidimensional desktop it appears that they want to take the familar parts of the OS X desktop and add depth , allowing you to stack documents or folders behind application icons on the floor of your desktop.
As Tom Krazit at cnet News noted many time these patented ideas never see the light of day but they are great for bloggers to write about and purists to complain about. Okay he didn’t quite say that but the idea is the same.
